Lok Sabha Elections 2024: There has been talk about seat sharing in the NDA alliance in Andhra Pradesh also regarding the Lok Sabha elections 2024. BJP and Janasena can get 8 Lok Sabha and 30 Assembly seats. At the same time, TDP can contest elections on 17 Lok Sabha and 145 assembly seats. BJP can contest elections from Araku, Rajahmundry, Narsapuram, Tirupati, Hindupur, Rajampet Lok Sabha seats. At the same time, Janasena can field candidates from Anakapalle, Kakinada or Machilipatnam seat. All the parties involved in the NDA alliance can make an official announcement in this regard soon.

Assembly elections will be held along with Lok Sabha

Along with Lok Sabha elections, assembly elections are also to be held in Andhra Pradesh. In such a situation, there was a delay in the distribution of seats. At the same time, there were differences between BJP and TDP regarding some seats and candidates. According to sources, BJP was demanding 6 seats out of 25, while TDP was ready to give 4 seats. In such a situation, the formula was decided that both BJP and Janasena would together contest elections in 8 Lok Sabha seats and 30 assembly seats.

2019 assembly election results

YSRC had won the last assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh. This party won 151 out of 175 assembly seats in the state and Jagan Mohan Reddy became the Chief Minister of the state. TDP had got 23 seats and others had lost one seat. No seats were lost to Congress and BJP. Lok Sabha Elections In 2017 also, Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress had to remain empty handed in the state. Of the total 25 seats in the state, 22 went to YSRC. Whereas TDP had got three seats. This time BJP would like to improve its performance in the state through alliance.
